CLEVER LIVING SEMINAR 5 - Renovate Retrofit Reimagine

  • The High Ground, Geelong Library and Heritage Centre 51 Little Malop Street Geelong, VIC, 3220 Australia (map)

Megan Norgate is an Interior and Permaculture Designer and the director of multi-disciplinary sustainable design studio Brave New Eco. Join Megan for this informative and practical seminar as she demonstrates how the best solutions are often the most beautiful, simple and resourceful, and have the potential to transform the way people exist within their homes and communities.  She will also explore how to get the fundamental design principles right, whether working on a new interior or through elements of a retrofit and refurbishment based approach, to realise a home’s sustainable potential, including:

  • Maximising outcomes while minimising the footprint
  • Identifying and working with the unique and positive elements in your home
  • Creating a healthy interior environment and make environmentally responsible choices

Comedian and mid-century design aficionado Tim Ross leads an after-hours tour of the exhibition Design for Life: Grant and Mary Featherston.
