Set amongst the foliage at Rupert on Rupert in Collingwood, you are invited to experience a one-off performance by producer, Anatole, recently named one of Australia’s top ten emerging electronic producers.
Inspired by the newly re-released cult album Mort Garson’s Mother Earth’s: Plantasia, Anatole is throwing it back to the 70's with his interpretation of music dedicated to plants and those who love 'em.
Raised amongst the serene natural surroundings of the Blue Mountains, Anatole will sample sounds from the grand cinematic scale of big ecosystems to the fine beauty of the smallest organisms to bring his performance to life. With a professional background in jazz and classical music, combined with electronic soul and dynamic beat-drive production and a synchronized live visual projection, this is a plant party like never seen before.
Dr. Dominique Hes, University of Melbourne, and pioneering plantfluencer and Plant Life Balance ambassador Jason Chongue will also be joining us to unfurl the connection between plants, music and the mind.
