NH Architecture's Urban Design Group would like to invite you to to the next instalment in the SERMO series to discuss the Value of Open Space.
Metropolitan Melbourne is transforming, reluctantly, from a core city model with satellite villages into a transit focussed metropolitan agglomeration. The city, largely planned from ideals based on the 19th century Garden city movement, is now seeking a more responsive and urbanised expression of its streets and public places. Social infrastructure has been at the core of Melbourne living and notably characterized by its parks, sporting grounds and natural waterways. This discussion will explore the population drivers, value perspectives and quality determinants of open space.
