Lagotto

Lagotto in Fitzroy North is a new collaboration between Millieu Hospitality Group, Flack Studio and chef David Fisher. Bridging the gap between cafe, restaurant and local deli, Lagotto offers different things to different people. The bold and unapologetic design is a visual feast which welcomes you in with characteristic Italian hospitality and European flair. Rich materials are used generously and with enthusiasm, with islands of polished natural stone sitting amongst the deep-red terrazzo floor.

Stamford Park Homestead

Stamford Park Homestead has been wonderfully reimagined by seasoned restaurateur Jason Jones (Entrecôte, Bouzy, Second Home) and interior designer and partner, Brahman Perera. We are so excited that this historical gem is located just 28km South East of Melbourne’s CBD! The beautiful mix of both classic and modern design reflects the incredible history and current evolution of Stamford Park. Designed by Jones’ partner, Brahman Perera, the interior plays on the tradition of early Australian homesteads, incorporating lush upholsteries, mixed solid timbers, honed marble and natural rattan forming a rich material palette.

We had a great evening last night celebrating the opening of the much anticipated Designstuff Flagship Showroom. The space is an intimate eye catching spot on the ground floor, with double height spaces with loads of natural sun, creating the perfect backdrop to showcase the beautiful product. The showroom features a retail space with shelves carefully arranged with homewares, a kitchen and a bathroom display as well as a kids corner. Pine Ave

Designed with unprecedented consideration and deliberation, the collection of eight, three-storey townhomes are stylised to be an instinctual extension of Elwood’s relaxed modern living.
The welcoming sense of intimacy is also seen in the built form with a significant recess allowing light to pour into each home. Drawing inspiration from the distinctive circular forms seen in the Art Deco movement of the 1920s and 30s, Cera Stribley Architects (CS-A) looked to emphasise each home’s facade, curving the white brickwork.

Spanish Mission House

I’m very excited to share this project as the first entry in our new ‘Five Minutes In’ series. Designed by Peter Kennon and styled by yours truly, the Spanish Mission House in Prahran is a residential renovation completed in late 2018. This gorgeous home brings together the architectural style of Spanish colonial and modern Australian interiors, blending both seamlessly with the existing footprint of the original dwelling. Highlights include the original details, ample natural light and calming monochromatic colour scheme. It provides the perfect backdrop for the owner’s artistic works, which are displayed prominently throughout. It was a pleasure to work on this great project and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
